Any Voluntary Organization, or section of such an organization, which wholly or mainly represents women that is prepared to work collaboratively with other women can apply for full voting membership. This includes women’s sections of trade unions and political parties. Only organizations based in Trinidad and Tobago are eligible for full membership. The Network aims to be as inclusive as possible therefore organizations not eligible for full membership can apply to become associate members. Membership fees and donations, form a vital part of the Network budget.
What About Those Outside Trinidad and Tobago?
The Network has been building working relationships with sister organizations; regionally and internationally such as Women & Development, Barbados (WAND), Caribbean Policy Development Centre (Barbados), Women's Environment and Development Organization WEDO (New York), Caribbean Institute for Women in Leadership (CIWIL) Antigua and Barbuda, Women's Resource and Outreach Centre (Jamaica) and Country Women Association of Nigeria (Cowan).
Can Individuals Join The Network?
Individuals are welcome to subscribe to the Directory of Members and Network Newsletter which will give them information about our activities. They can also apply for associate membership but this does not carry voting rights. The Network needs all the financial support, skills and help it can get and all women who share its ideals and hopes are urged to offer such help.
